How to choose your Wedding Florist (Wedding Florist Mississauga)

Tips for finding the best wedding florist for a Mississauga or Oshawa bride.

Ask for referrals

It’s still probably one of the best ways to shortlist a possible list of vendors. Previous experiences good and bad of those you know can be help to finding the best wedding florist for you. They can be friends who were recently married who had a great experience with their wedding florist. Sometimes it’s just good old fashioned time put in on the internet and ask google what it thinks.

Think outside the box

Weddings are the exceptional instance where brides will consider fit over promixity and you’re decision to possibly go to the other side of town will be decided by how you feel about the wedding florist you’re considering.

I never ceased to be amazing how many of my clients will travel from the other end of the city whether it’s MIssisauga on one end of the city to Oshawa at the other to secure my services, and I’m sure many wonderful florists on the other side of the city have experienced the same. It’s speak greatly to the idea of a good fit. There is no one side fits all wedding florist.

Look at the personal work of the wedding florist you are considering

With the internet, there is no reason why you should not be able to see a good sample of work of the florist you are considering. Look over the images and ask yourself, does this florist’s natural style reflect the look and feel that I’m wanting for my flowers? While as creatives, they should be able to do a range of work and styles, every florist has a natural style. It may be clean or it may be very organic and from there you can diecide if it is a good fit for you.

Prepare your questions

While there is so much of all of this that is dependent on trust, have a list of 2-3 questions that are most important to you. The best questions revolve around what the wedding florist’s thoughts are about your ideas and less about what how much experience they have as this should be evident for their work. A good question might be, my bridesmaid’s dress are purple and I love the colour purple, but I’m afraid it might be too much colour if I have purple flowers. What do you think?
